We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in the Building Materials industry, specifically AAC Blocks and Wall Panels. The ideal candidate should have established relationships with builders, architects, interior designers, contractors, and should be well-versed in project sales, B2B sales, channel development, and key account management.
The role involves generating new business, managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, building long-term relationships, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify new business opportunities in the real estate, infrastructure, and commercial project segments.
Generate leads through builder networks, architects, interior designers, contractors, consultants, and project sales channels.
Conduct market research to understand local construction trends and competitor activities.
2. Project Sales / B2B Sales
Drive sales for AAC blocks, wall panels, and other related building materials.
Build strong relationships with builders, developers, EPC companies, PMCs, architects, contractors, and interior designers.
Manage and track ongoing project pipelines from inquiry to order closure.
3. Channel & Distributor Management
Appoint and manage distributors/dealers where required.
Support channel partners and ensure product availability and brand visibility.
4. Key Account Management
Maintain long-term relationships with major accounts and drive repeat business.
Understand customer requirements, propose solutions, and ensure timely product delivery.
5. Sales Planning & Target Achievement
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.
Achieve sales targets through strategic planning and disciplined execution.
Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and competitor analysis.
6. Technical & Product Knowledge
Explain technical specifications, product benefits, and installation processes to clients.
Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and presentations.
7. Coordination & Customer Support
Coordinate with production, logistics, and dispatch teams for timely order execution.
Resolve customer issues related to delivery, quality, and payments.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of building materials industry, especially AAC blocks, Power Tools, Fire Safety Product or wall panels.
Excellent network with builders, architects, interior designers, contractors, consultants, and project sales.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage large accounts and high-value project sales.
Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge preferred.
Target-driven, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
