This includes managing a team of sales executives or relationship officers, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for products such as
savings accounts, current accounts, loans, credit cards, insurance, and investments
.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales officers / telecallers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Identify new business opportunities and build a robust customer pipeline.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure excellent service delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new growth areas.
Conduct daily sales meetings and performance reviews for the sales team.
Ensure adherence to all

Coordinate with internal departments (operations, credit, collections, etc.) for smooth processing of customer applications.
Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Graduate / Postgraduate degree (preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field).
Experience:
Minimum
3-7 years
of sales experience in the
banking or financial services sector
.
Prior experience in managing a sales team is highly desirable.
