Job Description

Job Purpose:
Formulate and ensure realization of local sales strategy in order to meet the established sales quota for the area of responsibility, and lead the daily operation of Haworth's sales and distribution functions ensuring that Haworth's customers in the assigned market consistently receive high-quality products and services in a timely manner.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepare budgets, sales plans, forecasts, and relevant sales reporting.
Develop sales strategies to meet the established area sales quota for the given area of responsibility.
Develop and maintain Haworth's image and brand positioning in the assigned market following Haworth's global standards.
Provide leadership guidance and training for the development of staff and ensure team members have the necessary resources to achieve their objectives.
Assist the sales staff members as required, in working with customers during the sales process and finalizing customer orders.
Ensure that high-quality tenders are prepared by the sales team.
Leverage regional and global resources to provide training, marketing, technical, and customer service support to customers and end-users in the assigned market.
Assist the sales support team to ensure that product and customer service quality standards are consistently achieved.
Provide input for the development of regional plans and major account-winning strategies.
Have strong connect with C-level executives in the target accounts, and establish rapport with A&D community, in alignment with the internal A&D team.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Any Graduate, with MBA in Sales and Marketing.
12-15 years of experience in managing cross-functional teams including Sales and Marketing Functions. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the building material industry is a must.
Must have experience of managing complex sales cycles with B-to-B selling processes in multinational companies.
Demonstrated experience in identifying new and emerging opportunities, and developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
Can apply an in-depth understanding of the industry and competitors' products to deliver value to customers and the organization.
With learning agility, understand fast how other departments contribute to the overall business, and leverage to deliver high-value products and services.
Must have a high executive presence, connect with senior industry leaders, and ability to navigate through ambiguity. Strong contacts with A&D and PMC would be an added advantage.
Must have a strategic mind and ability to execute plans. Should be numbers-driven, and results-oriented, with a natural flair to collaborate at all levels, especially cross-functional teams.
Should be able to create and drive a high-performing team.
