Job Description

Responsibilities



Conduct technical needs assessments and site surveys to understand client requirements. Collaborate with engineering, design, and project teams to develop proposals, solution diagrams, and system designs. Present AV solutions to clients, translating technical language into business value and ROI. Maintain deep product knowledge of AV systems, including control systems, signal processing, video conferencing, networked AV, and display technologies. Train and mentor sales team members on AV technologies and solution positioning. Manage key vendor relationships and stay current on AV product innovations and certifications. Manage and expand a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Prepare detailed scopes of work, budgets, and timelines for proposals. Respond to RFPs and RFQs with detailed, technically sound documentation. Support post-sale transition to project management, ensuring expectations are clearly defined and met. Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports, and achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and client meetings.

Qualifications



Education: Master's/bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in AV sales, account management, or a related role. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AV solutions, including video conferencing, control systems, and integration.

Required Skills



Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets with a consultative sales approach. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer Service: Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Problem-Solving: Ability to assess client needs and offer tailored AV solutions. Software Proficiency: Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and AV design tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills



Experience in managing complex AV projects. Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies.
