Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Sales Manager
to lead and drive sales for
Air Conditioning systems (Residential & Commercial segments)
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building and managing client relationships, expanding market share, and achieving sales targets. The role requires a strong understanding of AC systems, excellent team management skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for both residential and commercial AC segments.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare annual sales budgets and forecasts in coordination with senior management.
Plan and execute marketing and promotional campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
2. Business Development
Identify and acquire new customers - including retail dealers, consultants, architects, contractors, builders, and corporates.
Develop strategic partnerships to expand the reach of AC products.
Penetrate new markets and ensure coverage in untapped territories.
3. Key Account Management
Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to promote products and services.
Ensure timely resolution of client issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Team Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance.
Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and training programs to improve effectiveness.
5. Technical & Product Knowledge
Maintain in-depth knowledge of AC product specifications, features, applications, and installation requirements.
Collaborate with the technical team to provide clients with customized solutions.
Ensure team members are updated on the latest product developments and technical training.
6. Sales Operations & Reporting
Monitor daily sales activities and ensure proper documentation in CRM or ERP systems.
Generate regular sales reports, performance dashboards, and market feedback.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and commercial terms.
7. After-Sales Support
Coordinate with the service and support teams to ensure timely after-sales services.
Assist clients with installation, maintenance, and warranty-related queries.
Follow up on client feedback and ensure continual service improvement.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in Air conditioning sales.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems (split, VRF/VRV, ductable, packaged units).
Skills:
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse customer base
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software

Achievement of sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annual)

Work Environment:
Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients, partners, and distributors
