We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager with 7-10 years of experience to drive our
business growth in the defense and aerospace sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep
rooted background in wire harnesses or electronic components, with a proven ability to
manage complex sales cycles.
While expertise in wire harnessing is essential, a working knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency)
components is a significant advantage. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint
within Bengaluru's defense ecosystem, moving beyond transactional sales to become a
strategic solution provider for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and capture new business opportunities for wire harnesses
and fiber optic assemblies across defense OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
Strategic Account Management: Manage and grow key accounts including BEL, HAL, DRDO,
and leading private sector defense players in Bengaluru.
Technical Solutioning: Work with clients to understand their wiring and interconnect
requirements, proposing tailored solutions that meet MIL-spec and aerospace standards.
Bid Management: Lead the end-to-end process for technical and commercial proposals,
ensuring timely submission and competitive positioning.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between the customer and our internal
production and engineering teams to ensure project timelines are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 7-10 years of proven success in technical sales within the Defense and Aerospace
industry. A track record of handling high-value contracts (50-100L) is essential.
Technical Expertise:
Essential: Strong expertise in wire harnesses, cable assemblies or interconnect
components. Strong willingness to learn
Desirable: Familiarity with RF cable assemblies, connectors or microwave components
Education: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Soft Skills: Exceptional speaking skills, and stakeholder management. Ability to navigate the
bureaucracy of the public sector and the agility of private aerospace firms.
Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of DPP (Defence Procurement Procedure) and
indigenous manufacturing (Make in India) guidelines.
Location: Based in Bengaluru with a willingness to travel extensively to strategic defense hubs
