SRM CHIPS - SALES INTERNSHIP PROGRAMInternship Objective



The Sales Internship at

SRM Chips

is designed to provide hands-on exposure to

retail sales operations, stock management, cash discipline, and customer service

in a real business environment. Interns will learn end-to-end shop-level operations while representing the

SRM Chips brand

with professionalism and integrity.

Internship Duration & Working Structure



Working Time:

9:00 AM to 10:00 PM

As per shop operational requirements

Shift Rotation / Weekly Off:

As per company policy

Attendance & Punctuality:

Mandatory and strictly monitored

Key Learning & Responsibilities1. Retail Sales Operations (Learning-by-Doing)



Assist in counter sales and customer billing under supervision Learn accurate weighing, packing, and pricing of products Understand SRM Chips product varieties, freshness standards, and offers Observe and practice ethical selling techniques

2. Payment Handling Exposure



Learn handling of

Cash / UPI / Card payments

Understand the importance of

100% billing discipline

Assist in daily cash tallying and reporting Learn cash deposit procedures as per company process

3. Daily Sales Reporting



Assist in preparing daily sales reports Learn payment mode breakup reporting (Cash / UPI / Bank) Understand how mismatches are identified and escalated Gain exposure to coordination with Accounts / Management

4. Stock Handling (Shop-Level Learning)



Assist in receiving stock from the manufacturing unit Learn quantity and quality verification processes Maintain basic understanding of opening, sales, and closing stock Learn how to identify fast-moving and low-stock items

5. Stock Discipline Awareness



Learn company policies on stock movement Understand why

unauthorized stock transfer is prohibited

Learn the importance of separating personal and company stock

6. Shop Hygiene & Visual Merchandising



Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards inside the shop Learn correct product display methods Understand and follow

FIFO (First In, First Out)

stock rotation Follow company dress code and conduct guidelines

7. Customer Interaction & Service Skills



Learn polite, respectful, and professional customer interaction Observe complaint handling and escalation process Develop trust-based customer service practices Understand how repeat customers are built in retail

8. Discipline, SOPs & Compliance



Learn and follow SRM Chips Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Understand rules related to

no credit sales without approval

Follow guidelines on mobile phone usage during billing hours Learn the seriousness of cash and stock accountability
