The Sales Incharge is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the showroom or branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions when needed.
Manage and motivate the sales team to improve performance.
Ensure all enquiries and leads are followed up promptly.
Customer Handling
Greet and attend customers courteously.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or models.
Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business.
Team Supervision
Allocate daily sales targets to team members.
Train and guide sales executives on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
Maintain proper documentation of sales, customer feedback, and vehicle delivery.
Coordinate with accounts and delivery teams for smooth billing and handover.
Marketing & Promotion
Plan and execute local marketing campaigns or roadshows.
Maintain showroom display and promotional materials.
Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and pricing.
Coordination
Work closely with service, accounts, and RTO teams for vehicle delivery.
Ensure proper stock availability and vehicle allocation.
Key Skills Required:
Strong leadership and communication skills
Negotiation and persuasion skills
Target-oriented and customer-focused attitude
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools)
Good knowledge of the automobile market (if in that industry)
Qualification & Experience:
Any Graduate (MBA preferred)
Minimum 3-6 years of experience in sales; at least 2 years in a supervisory role
