Job Summary -

The Relationship Manager - HNI Sales will be responsible for

acquiring, managing, and servicing High Net worth (HNI) and Ultra-HNI clients

for their comprehensive wealth management needs. This role is focused on delivering exceptional client experience, driving the sales of high-value financial products, and achieving significant growth in Assets under Management (AUM) and revenue.



Key Responsibilities



Client Acquisition:

Actively prospect, acquire, and on-board new HNI clients through networking, referrals, market mapping, and utilizing professional connections.

Relationship Management:

Develop and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with existing HNI clients, serving as their single point of contact for all financial needs.

Needs Analysis & Advisory:

Conduct deep-dive analysis of client financial statements, risk appetite, and long-term goals to create a customized financial blueprint.

Product Sales & Cross-Selling:

Promote and sell a wide array of sophisticated investment and financial products, including: + Equities, Derivatives, and Fixed Income
+ Mutual Funds (MF)
+ Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternate Investment Funds (AIF)
+ Insurance (Life and Health) and Estate Planning Solutions
+ Structured Products and Real Estate Advisory

Service Coordination:

Collaborate closely with internal product specialists (Research, PMS, Operations) to ensure timely execution and seamless service delivery to the client.

Portfolio Review:

Conduct regular, proactive portfolio reviews with clients, providing market updates, performance reports, and recommending strategic rebalancing.

Compliance & Regulation:

Ensure strict adherence to Know Your Client (KYC) norms, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, and all regulatory guidelines (SEBI, AMFI) in all client interactions and transactions.

Target Achievement:

Consistently meet and exceed assigned targets for revenue generation, AUM growth, and new client acquisition.

Key Skills & Competencies



Domain Expertise:

Thorough knowledge of the Wealth Management ecosystem, investment products, and capital markets (Equity, Debt, F&O).

Client Engagement:

Exceptional relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication skills tailored for engaging sophisticated, high-net-worth clientele.

Sales & Negotiation:

Proven track record in high-value sales, effective negotiation, and closing complex transactions.

Integrity & Trust:

High degree of professional integrity, confidentiality, and ability to act as a fiduciary advisor.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyse complex financial data, articulate market scenarios, and structure tailored solutions.

Software Proficiency:

Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis), and wealth management platforms.

Qualifications



Education:

Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration (MBA preferred).

Certifications:

Certifications such as

CFP (Certified Financial Planner)

NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets)

certifications (especially Research Analyst or Investment Adviser), or equivalent global certifications are highly preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile



Minimum 3-8 years of direct experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Institutional Sales, specifically catering to HNI/UHNI clients. Established local network and a book of business or strong capacity to acquire clients in the target region.

Performance Metrics



Growth in Assets under Management (AUM) and Net New Money (NNM). Revenue and brokerage generated from the client portfolio. Number of new HNI relationships acquired per quarter. Product penetration and cross-selling ratios within the client base. * Client satisfaction and retention rates.
