Position Overview:



As the

Sales Head - Academic Counselling

, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing a team of academic counselors, and overseeing the recruitment of prospective students into the institution's programs. You will be the key point of contact between prospective students , guiding them through the decision-making process, and providing them with valuable insights into our offerings. Your role will be pivotal in achieving enrollment targets while maintaining high levels of student satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Strategy & Leadership:

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive enrollment in all academic programs. Lead, train, and motivate a team of academic counselors to achieve individual and team targets. Set clear sales goals, track performance, and adjust strategies to ensure sales objectives are met. Identify opportunities for increasing conversion rates and improving the sales funnel.

Academic Counseling & Consultation:

Provide personalized consultations for prospective students, advising them on suitable programs based on their skills, career goals, and aspirations. Lead the team in delivering high-quality academic counseling that supports the overall mission of the school. Answer queries and handle objections related to the programs, admissions, fees, and other areas of interest.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

Develop and execute lead generation strategies to source and nurture high-quality leads. Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups with leads, and maintaining an accurate database of prospects. Leverage CRM tools to track leads, conversions, and performance metrics

Performance & Reporting:

Monitor team performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and conversion rates. Conduct market research to understand trends and competitors, ensuring that the school remains competitive in the education sector.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective students, addressing any concerns or challenges they may face during the application process. Provide post-enrollment support to ensure students transition smoothly into their programs.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 years in a leadership role, ideally in the education sector. Strong understanding of the academic counseling process and the student recruitment lifecycle. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and data analysis tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
