We are a reputed and fast-growing ghee and dairy products company with a strong Kerala presence. Planning for National presence in near future As we expand our footprint across Tamil Nadu, we are seeking an experienced State Head to drive sales growth, strengthen distribution, and lead our dynamic regional team.

Role Overview



The State Head - Tamil Nadu will be responsible for managing and growing the company's business across General Trade, Local Modern Trade, and E-commerce channels. This leadership role requires strong team management skills, market understanding, and an established network across the Tamil Nadu FMCG landscape.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage sales operations across Chennai, Tamil Nadu ensuring achievement of volume and revenue targets.

Drive growth in General Trade (GT), Local Modern Trade (LMT), and E-commerce channels.

Build, mentor, and lead a state-level sales team, ensuring performance and capability development.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and trade partners.

Plan and execute market expansion strategies, identifying new business opportunities across urban and rural markets.

Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams for promotions, product launches, and inventory management.

Track market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to recommend strategic actions.

Candidate Profile



Education

: Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.

Experience

: 10-15 years in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years of team-handling experience in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Proven track record in Local Modern Trade and General Trade management.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
