Job Summary:

The Head of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand the business. This role involves leading, mentoring, and motivating the sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve corporate sales goals and objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes. Set sales targets, forecast sales volume, and analyze sales data to inform decision-making.

Team Leadership & Management:

Lead, recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Establish performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and results-oriented sales culture.

Business Development & Client Relations:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and key accounts. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Negotiate and close high-value sales agreements. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Operations & Reporting:

Oversee the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Implement and optimize sales processes, CRM systems, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment and support sales initiatives.

Market Analysis & Feedback:

Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for product/service improvement and innovation. Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market shifts.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 2 + years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 1+ years in a senior leadership or management role. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of sales principles, methodologies, and CRM software Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel as required.
