About the Role:



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our sales team and drive significant growth in the solar energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the solar industry, and a passion for renewable energy. This role requires frequent travel across South India.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and market share goals.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government tenders and private sector projects.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Revenue Generation:

Directly contribute to revenue generation through strategic sales initiatives.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.

Performance Management:

Set and track sales targets, analyze sales performance, and implement corrective actions.

Financial Planning:

Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts.

Industry Networking:

Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and associations.

Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 8-12 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the solar energy industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. In-depth knowledge of the solar energy market, products, and technologies. Ability to travel frequently within South India. Proficiency in using CRM and sales tools.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
