We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Sales Head to lead our sales team and drive overall revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of proven experience in managing sales operations, developing strategies, and building strong client relationships. This role involves leading the sales team, achieving targets, expanding market presence, and contributing to the company's long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy
Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure performance excellence.
Analyse market opportunities and create growth strategies for new and existing markets.
Forecast sales trends and set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across domestic/international markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors.
Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
Team Management
Conduct regular team reviews, performance appraisals, and training sessions.
Build a high-performing sales team with a focus on accountability and results.
Ensure adherence to the sales process and standard operating procedures.
Sales Operations
Oversee end-to-end sales operations including lead generation, pipeline management, deal closures, and after-sales support.
Collaborate with marketing, production, logistics, and finance teams for smooth execution.
Evaluate sales reports, MIS, and KPIs to monitor overall performance.
Client & Market Insights
Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Provide regular input to management regarding product improvements, pricing strategies, and demand patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of sales strategies, planning, forecasting, and team management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Proven experience in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales management systems.
