About the Role:



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to build and lead the sales function for our newly established MEP(Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) company. You will be responsible for developing robust sales strategies, building a high-performing team, and establishing a strong market presence in Trivandrum and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategy & Business Development: Craft and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and market share targets. Identify and develop new business opportunities by building relationships with potential clients, including architects, builders, interior designers, and large construction firms. Team Leadership & Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and drive the team to achieve sales quotas. Client & Network Management: Regularly meet with key stakeholders (Architects, Builders, Plumbers, etc.) to generate inquiries, convert leads, and ensure top customer satisfaction. Develop long-term, trusting relationships with clients to secure repeat business. Market Intelligence: Keep management informed about competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to help make informed business decisions. Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial customer contact and needs assessment to negotiating deals and ensuring proper after-sales service. Reporting: Build and present regular sales reports to management, analyzing performance metrics and the effectiveness of sales strategies.

Requirements:



A degree in Mechanical or Electrical with Business Administratiin & Marketing preffered, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales/business development, with a significant portion in the MEP, construction, or a related industrial sector. Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and building a sales channel from the ground up. Hands-on experience with various sales techniques and CRM software. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and experience in team management.
