We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Head to lead and scale our sales operations for an expanding EdTech organization offering online and offline tuition programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the EdTech or education services sector, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through structured sales strategies, team management, and process optimization.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational growth and expansion plans.
Drive student enrollments and revenue across online tuition, offline tuition, and hybrid learning programs.
Set sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual) and ensure consistent achievement.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies within the EdTech space.
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team including counsellors, business development executives, and tele-sales teams.
Define clear KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews and training sessions.
Build a high-performing, motivated sales team with strong conversion focus.
Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members as part of expansion.
Lead Management & Conversion
Oversee the complete sales funnel from lead generation to enrollment conversion.
Ensure effective handling of inquiries from multiple channels such as website leads, walk-ins, calls, referrals, and digital campaigns.
Optimize lead allocation, follow-up processes, and conversion ratios.
Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of leads with minimal drop-offs.
Process & CRM Management
Establish and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales and counseling.
Ensure proper usage of CRM systems for lead tracking, follow-ups, reporting, and data accuracy.
Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and provide insights to management.
Maintain accurate sales data, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
Branch & Expansion Support
Support the launch of new branches, centers, or programs.
Set up sales processes, staffing, targets, and training for new locations.
Ensure consistent sales standards and performance across all branches.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of the EdTech / education services sales ecosystem.
Proven ability to lead and scale sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting and reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Experience in handling both online and offline education sales models.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5-8 years of sales experience, with minimum 2-3 years in a leadership role.
Mandatory experience in EdTech, educational institutions, coaching centers, or training organizations.
