About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Head with 15+ years of proven experience in driving FMCG sales and marketing operations across diverse markets and product categories. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, analytical, and execution capabilities to build and lead high-performing teams while ensuring consistent growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations:
? Lead end-to-end national and regional sales strategy and execution.
? Drive primary and secondary sales growth across general trade, modern trade, and e-commerce channels.
? Build, train, and manage a high-performing sales team across zones.
? Set, monitor, and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
? Oversee distributor, dealer, and channel partner management.
? Implement pricing, discounting, and trade promotion strategies.
? Design and execute retail visibility and merchandising programs.
? Ensure seamless demand forecasting and inventory alignment with supply chain.
Marketing Operations:
? Align marketing strategies with sales goals to drive brand visibility and market share.
? Lead ATL, BTL, and digital campaigns in collaboration with the brand and media teams.
? Manage marketing budgets and ROI tracking for all campaigns.
? Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights.
? Oversee product launches, seasonal campaigns, and regional promotions.
? Build synergy between marketing, sales, and product teams.
Analytics & Strategic Planning:
? Analyze sales data, channel performance, and market trends.
? Develop dashboards, KPIs, and MIS for performance tracking and decision-making.
? Provide market intelligence for NPD (New Product Development) and expansion.
? Ensure regular business reviews with key stakeholders and management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing/Sales (MBA preferred).
? Minimum 15 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
? Strong understanding of sales distribution models and channel dynamics.
? Proficiency in sales analytics tools (Excel, CRM, ERP).
? Strategic thinker with execution excellence.
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
