About the Role
The Sales Head will lead the entire sales function, drive revenue growth, and develop strategies to expand the company's market presence. This role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of manufacturing industry dynamics, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships. The Sales Head will guide the sales team, set targets, and collaborate closely with production, marketing, and senior management to meet organizational goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and market growth.
Lead, guide, and mentor the sales team to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential customer segments.
Revenue & Target Management
Set, monitor, and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Forecast sales volumes and prepare periodic performance reports for senior management.
Evaluate sales processes and introduce improvements for better efficiency and conversion.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and distributors.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Negotiate high-value contracts and pricing agreements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Collaborate with marketing teams for campaigns, product launches, and brand-building activities.
Provide insights to R&D/production based on customer feedback and market demand.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel.
Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear KPIs for the team.
Foster a results-driven sales culture with motivation and teamwork.
Qualifications & Skills
Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum
10 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing sales
, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, B2B sales, supply chain, and industrial markets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and create actionable plans.
Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
