Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Head of Operations

, preferably from a

Defence/Forces background

, with an previous experience on Counter Drone technology to lead deployment, customer demonstrations, field operations, and operational excellence across India. This individual will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Counter drone solution deployment-- from pre-sales demonstrations to client handover-- ensuring seamless execution, technical clarity, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

Define and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals. Lead cross-functional deployment and support teams across regions. Ensure operational readiness and risk mitigation for all projects.

Customer Demonstration & Engagement

Personally conduct high-stakes customer demonstrations of Counter Drone systems and software. Communicate complex technological features in a clear and confident manner. Act as a trusted technical advisor to defense, government, and enterprise clients.

Deployment Oversight

Lead end-to-end deployment lifecycle including setup, calibration, flight testing, and system sign-off. Ensure all field deployments are completed with precision, on time, and within scope. Oversee compliance with DGFT/DGCA/DDP/ARDTC or relevant aviation/defense regulatory frameworks.

Team & Process Management

Build and manage high-performing field operations and deployment teams. Establish and enforce SOPs, training standards, and safety protocols. Liaise with R&D and Product teams to feedback field learnings and client expectations.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure operational integrity, system reliability, and safe flying practices. Maintain strict adherence to flight regulations, airspace permissions, and customer confidentiality.

Project Budget Management

Estimate the Demo / Pilot / POC / Order budgets based on the customer orders and execute them under the budgets with a operational efficiency
