Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Head to lead business growth for digital engineering domain software solutions in the Gujarat region. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Gujarati, possess strong B2B sales experience, and have a proven track record in engineering software, digital transformation, or technology solution sales. The role demands ownership of the entire sales cycle -- from lead generation to closure -- while building trusted relationships with clients in construction, manufacturing, EPC, and OEM sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Own sales targets and growth for the Gujarat region, driving revenue from engineering software solutions.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts across engineering design firms, EPC companies, and OEMs.
  • Drive new business opportunities through networking, referrals, events, and channel partnerships.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to ensure high performance, goal alignment, and continuous capability building.
2. Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, IT Heads, Design Managers).
  • Conduct client presentations, product demos, and solution workshops in Gujarati, Hindi, or English as needed.
  • Understand customer pain points and collaborate with solution architects to propose tailored digital solutions.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular engagement and proactive communication.
3. Solution Selling & Domain Expertise
  • Promote software and digital engineering offerings -- BIM, Design Automation, Digital Twin, PLM/PDM integrations, and Cloud-based engineering tools.
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value propositions.
  • Support pre-sales in preparing proposals, business cases, and ROI analyses.
  • Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align solutions with customer goals.
4. Forecasting & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM updates.
  • Report progress, challenges, and competitor activities to management regularly.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and regional industry events.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in software / technology / industrial solution sales, preferably in AECO or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Proven track record of acquiring and growing strategic, named enterprise account
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills -- fluent in Gujarati and English (Hindi a plus)..
  • Excellent presentation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with enterprise solution sales (SaaS, cloud platforms, or Autodesk ecosystem preferred).
  • Comfort working in consultative, technical, and value-based sales environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Exposure to Autodesk Platform Services, CAD/BIM tools, or manufacturing digitalization.
  • Understanding of digital transformation and Industry 4.0 trends.
  • Experience managing small sales teams or regional partners is an advantage.

  • Strong local market understanding in Gujarat's AECO and industrial ecosystem.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with internal teams (delivery, marketing, solutioning).
