We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented
Sales & Guest Relations Manager
to manage banquet bookings, lawn events, and guest interactions. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience in event management within hotels, resorts, or banquet venues.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
Generate new leads and convert inquiries for weddings, social events, corporate functions, and celebrations.
Conduct venue show-rounds for potential clients.
Achieve monthly and yearly banquet & lawn sales targets.
Build relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and wedding organizers.
2. Guest Relations & Client Servicing
Act as the primary contact for all guests and clients before, during, and after events.
Ensure high levels of satisfaction through personalized service.
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Coordinate with clients on event details, decor, menus, and special requirements.
3. Event Coordination
Liaise with banquet operations, F&B, kitchen, housekeeping, and AV teams for smooth event execution.
Ensure all arrangements are delivered as per client expectations.
Conduct pre-event and post-event briefings with the operational team.
Oversee event setup, guest flow, and overall execution quality.
4. Contracting & Documentation
Prepare proposals, event contracts, and cost estimates.
Maintain proper records of bookings, contracts, payments, and event files.
Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of accounts.
5. Market Research & Strategy
Evaluate competitor offerings to strengthen the sales approach.
Contribute ideas for seasonal promotions and sales packages.
Participate in marketing initiatives for banquet & lawn promotions.
6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Maintain and update the CRM database.
Follow up with past clients for repeat business and referrals.
Track client feedback and implement service improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in banquet sales, events, or hospitality guest relations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation and customer service abilities.
Ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced event environments.
Familiarity with event planning, banquet operations, and hospitality standards.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of PMS/CRM systems is an advantage.
