About the Role
As the
Sales Executive - PU & Construction Chemicals
, you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth for specialty polyurethane-based construction solutions--including grouts, coatings, admixtures, and waterproofing systems. You'll engage directly with contractors, engineers, RMC plants, and infrastructure clients, leveraging your technical understanding to deliver value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
Research and identify new project opportunities within infrastructure and construction sectors.
Conduct cold calls and schedule face-to-face meetings with project managers, engineers, and decision-makers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Commercial Negotiation & Order Closure
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, delivery, and specifications while aligning with client budgets and needs.
Secure orders and ensure alignment between sales, production, and supply chain for timely fulfillment.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and product performance.
Provide inputs to R&D regarding customer feedback and feature enhancement opportunities.
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales results, forecasts, and pipeline status.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
: Bachelor's or Master's in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil, or related discipline.
Experience
: 2-5 years of techno-commercial sales experience in polyurethane or construction chemicals, preferably with hands-on exposure at project sites.
Technical Know-how
: In-depth understanding of PU technologies, admixtures, waterproofing solutions, and their application test procedures (e.g., slump, retention).
Soft Skills
: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship skills. Pro-active, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Field Readiness
: Flexibility to travel regularly; valid driver's license and personal transport (e.g., two-wheeler) preferred for coverage in Pan India
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
