Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Business Development

Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate, travel trade, and individual clients.

Promote hotel products including guest rooms, banquets, conferences, weddings, and F&B outlets.

Achieve assigned room nights, banquet revenue, and overall sales targets.

Prepare and negotiate contracts, rate agreements, and proposals with clients.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event planners.

Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and hotel site inspections.

Handle client inquiries professionally and ensure timely follow-ups.

Market Analysis & Reporting

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

Update and maintain client databases and sales records.

Coordination & Operations Support

Coordinate with Reservations, Front Office, Banquets, and Revenue Management teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings and events.

Ensure all client requirements are communicated clearly to operational teams.

Assist in organizing promotional activities, roadshows, and sales events.

Brand Representation

Represent the hotel at trade fairs, exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings.

Uphold brand standards and ensure a professional image of the hotel at all times.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of sales targets (rooms, banquets, events, and revenue).

Number of new accounts acquired.

Client retention and repeat business.

Conversion ratio of inquiries to confirmed business.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred).

Experience

1-5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales (experience level may vary by hotel category).

Skills & Competencies

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Good knowledge of the local market and hospitality industry.

Ability to work independently and meet targets.

Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS/CRM systems.

Presentable personality with customer-focused attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,264.34 - ₹36,987.74 per month
