Key Responsibilities: Inbound Lead Handling & Client Interaction
Respond promptly to all incoming leads via email, website, phone, LinkedIn, etc.
Understand client needs, explain relevant product solutions, and initiate quotations.
Set up meetings for RSMs when field visits are required and follow up on outcomes.
Guide clients through product presentations (via phone, email, video meetings).
Quotation, Order Conversion & Closure
Coordinate with the back-office team to ensure timely quotations, presentations, and documentation.
Follow up proactively with prospects for closing deals, negotiating where required.
Record lead status and conversion journey accurately in CRM or shared trackers.
Ensure that client concerns are addressed on time and escalated if needed.
Coordination with Field Sales (RSMs)
Act as a link between Regional Sales Managers and the internal back-office team.
Guide RSMs on which leads require visits, assist in preparing visit plans, and track follow-ups.
Monitor region-wise performance and escalate stuck leads to sales directors.
Internal Sales Support
Maintain daily and weekly lead trackers, quotations issued, and orders closed.
Participate in weekly review meetings with Directors and update on key accounts.
Maintain high-quality internal communication across sales, production, and dispatch teams.
Limited Travel (When Required)
Although the role is office-based, the Sales Manager may be required to travel occasionally for key client meetings, order closures, product presentations, or after-sales issue resolution where physical presence is essential.
Travel will not be frequent but cannot be ruled out entirely.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Graduate / MBA preferred
4-8 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or B2B client coordination
Experience in hospitality, furniture, commercial interiors, or industrial products is a plus
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Strong follow-up habits, structured thinking, and closing attitude
Good working knowledge of Excel, CRM systems, email handling, and lead tracking tools
