Job Description

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the steel forging industry (domestic and export markets). Generate leads, approach potential clients, and convert them into long-term customers. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business. Prepare and present quotations, technical proposals, and follow up for orders. Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth order execution. Actively manage and participate in tenders and opportunities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. Handle GeM portal operations including product listing, bid participation, compliance, and order processing. Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to stay competitive. Meet monthly and annual sales targets.
Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate in Business/Engineering/Commerce (MBA preferred). 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the steel/forging/metals sector. Hands-on knowledge of the GeM portal and tender participation. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Self-driven with ability to work independently and meet targets. Familiarity with B2B sales and industrial customer handling.
Engagement Type:

Full-time (flexible option for part-time/consultancy if focused on GeM tenders). Performance-based incentives in addition to fixed salary.
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
