Job Description


Position Summary:-

The Unit Sales Executive is vital and is responsible to ensure our hotel is profitable. The position
is responsible for generating sales across all our key revenue streams like bed rooms; meeting
and conferences. A strong \xe2\x80\x9cPeople Person\xe2\x80\x9d with excellent communication skills, a positive
persuasive personality and with diligent attention to detail, whilst ensuring an exemplary
experience for all customers is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

1. Maximizing key revenue streams to ensure consistent usage of all hotel facilities.
2. Building relationships with potential and past clients
3. As required, attend trade shows, cold calling and networking events to bring new bookers
and contacts into the hotel.
4. Managing the processes we have in place to collect customer feedback and comments.
5. Identify positives and build on these to improve our products.
6. Were the individual can be identified, address negatives direct with the objective to turn a
complainant into a loyal customer.
7. Develop action plans with other departments to eliminate negatives.
8. Managing the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s database.
9. Establishing a process to ensure all new customers and contacts are entered.
10. Improve the database segmentation.
11. Identifying new relevant Social Media Platforms.
12. Setting up and managing a program for our Reception Hosts to assist you establish new
contacts and prospects. And to assist in management of the OTAs.
13. Work with the Operations Manager: To review constantly our and our Competitive Set
hospitality products and pricing and to develop the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s Sales and Marketing Plan

Experience:
Experience within sales in the hospitality industry is preferred with a proven track record of
sales. We would also consider College graduates with one to three years of sales
experience, preferably in hotel sales or other hospitality industries. The candidate should be
especially skilled at cold calling and other marketing techniques. Knowledge of the \xe2\x80\x9cAgent market\xe2\x80\x9d would be useful
