Key Responsibilities
Visit construction sites, industrial units, factories, and project offices regularly
Generate leads from contractors, builders, EPC companies, consultants, and project owners
Promote and sell construction/industrial products such as cement, steel, machinery, equipment, valves, pipes, electricals, and MEP items
Understand project requirements, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications
Coordinate with technical, estimation, and tendering teams for quotations and approvals
Follow up on enquiries, negotiations, and purchase orders
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Track project progress and identify upcoming material requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
Ensure timely collection of payments as per agreed terms
Prepare daily site visit reports, sales forecasts, and MIS
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of construction and industrial markets
Ability to read basic drawings, BOQs, and technical data sheets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-driven with strong field execution capability
Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and ERP/CRM systems
Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in
Civil / Mechanical / Electrical
or related discipline
Preferred Candidate
Experience in construction material or industrial product sales
Willingness to travel to project sites
Target-oriented and customer-focused approach
