A Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. The role requires strong communication skills, customer handling, and a drive to meet revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and networking.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products/services.
Achieve assigned sales targets in the designated territory.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
Maintain good relationships with existing and new customers.
Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and payments.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and update CRM or sales tracker.
Stay updated with competitor activities and market trends.
Participate in promotional events, exhibitions, and campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus).
1-5 years of experience in sales (industry-specific if needed).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
Good presentation and customer-handling skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools).
