The Sales Executive is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a premium shopping experience in the jewellery showroom. The role involves assisting customers in selecting jewellery, explaining product features, maintaining store displays, and achieving monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and understand their needs.
Assist customers in selecting jewellery based on their preferences, budget, and occasion.
Provide accurate information about gold, diamonds, gemstones, purity levels, and pricing.
Build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
2. Sales & Target Achievement
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Cross-sell and upsell products to increase revenue.
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, collections, and seasonal offers.
3. Product Knowledge
Understand types of jewellery (gold, diamond, platinum, silver).
Explain product quality, certification, carat weight, and craftsmanship.
Stay updated on jewellery trends and customer preferences.
4. Store Operations
Ensure jewellery displays are clean, attractive, and well-organized.
Handle billing, invoicing, and POS operations accurately.
Assist with stock counting, tagging, and inventory management.
Follow security protocols and handle jewellery responsibly.
5. Customer Follow-up
Contact customers regarding new arrivals, offers, and festive collections.
Manage after-sales service including exchanges, repairs, and custom orders.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in jewellery sales preferred (1-3 years).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of sales techniques and negotiation.
Basic computer knowledge and billing skills.
