Role Overview:



We are seeking a proactive and results-driven

Sales and Business Development Executive

to drive

secondary sales

growth for

PTMT Taps & Accessories

. The ideal candidate will focus on expanding business through company-appointed distributors and their retail counters, ensuring strong sales performance and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development (Focus on Secondary Sales):



Develop and implement sales strategies to drive

secondary sales

through distributors and their counters.

Strengthen relationships with distributors and retailers to increase product availability and visibility.

Support and guide distributors in achieving their sales targets through structured sales plans and promotional activities.

Conduct in-market visits to distributor counters, ensuring proper stock availability, branding, and engagement with retailers.

Provide sales training and support to distributor teams to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.

Distributor & Retail Counter Management:



Work closely with company-appointed distributors to track and optimize stock movement at retail counters.

Ensure a smooth order fulfillment process, coordinating between distributors and the supply chain team.

Regularly visit distributor counters to gather market feedback, address challenges, and strengthen relationships with retailers.

Monitor distributor sales performance and implement corrective measures when needed.

Market Analysis & Strategy:



Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities for secondary sales.

Develop insights on consumer preferences and demand patterns to refine sales strategies.

Provide structured feedback to management on distributor and retailer performance.

Sales Performance & Reporting:



Track and evaluate secondary sales performance through distributor reports and field visits.

Maintain updated sales records, forecasts, and market analysis reports for review.

Identify gaps in secondary sales and implement corrective measures to enhance performance.

Product Knowledge & Training:



Maintain a strong understanding of

PTMT Taps & Accessories

, including their features, benefits, and applications.

Train distributor teams and retail counter sales staff to improve product knowledge and boost sales.

Collaboration & Coordination:



Work closely with the marketing team to develop distributor-level promotional campaigns and retail branding initiatives.

Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment at distributor counters.

Customer Service & Satisfaction:



Provide on-ground support to retailers and distributors, ensuring prompt resolution of any product or service issues.

Foster long-term relationships to enhance customer loyalty and drive repeat business.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree

in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

1+ years of experience

in secondary sales, preferably in the

plumbing, paint, hardware, building materials industry or Any other Sales except Finance, banking, Edutech and Retail shop counter sales

.

Proven track record of working with distributors and retail networks to drive secondary sales growth.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to optimize distributor performance.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to travel for field visits and distributor engagement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?21,000.00 per month
