Maria Publishers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and results-driven
Sales Executive
with 2 to 3 years of experience in the publishing industry. The role involves promoting and selling both print and digital educational products, building strong institutional relationships, and driving the company's growth across key academic markets.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell Maria Publishers' print textbooks and digital products (including the
DigiMaria
platform) to schools, colleges, and educational institutions.
Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Principals, Academic Coordinators, Purchase Heads, and other institutional decision-makers.
Understand institutional requirements and recommend optimal combinations of print and digital solutions to enhance learning outcomes.
Identify and onboard new clients--schools, learning centers, and distributors--to expand market reach.
Participate in educational outreach programs, exhibitions, and events to strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
Conduct product presentations and counseling sessions for educators on Maria Publishers' offerings.
Gather and communicate customer feedback and market intelligence to support product development and sales strategy.
Prepare and submit periodic sales forecasts, visit reports, and performance summaries to the Sales Head.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree (Education, Commerce, or related disciplines preferred).
2-3 years of relevant experience in publishing or educational content sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to meet and exceed targets with minimal supervision.
Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented professional with a customer-centric mindset.
Familiarity with
digital learning platforms
is an added advantage.
