--with 2 to 3 years of experience in publishing. The role involves promoting and selling both print and digital educational products, forging relationships with institutions, and expanding our presence within Hyderabad's educational market.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell Maria Publishers' print textbooks and digital products (including Digimaria) to schools, colleges, and educational institutions across Hyderabad.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders--such as Principals, Academic Coordinators, and Purchase Heads.
Understand institutional needs and recommend appropriate combinations of print and digital solutions for enhanced learning outcomes.
Identify and acquire new clients--schools or educational centers--within the Hyderabad region.
Participate in local educational outreach, events, or customer engagement initiatives to elevate brand visibility.
Conduct product demonstrations and brief counseling sessions for teaching staff on our print and digital offerings.
Collect and relay customer feedback and market insight to help refine product strategies.
Prepare and submit routine sales forecasts and client interaction reports to the Sales Head.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree (Education, Commerce, or related fields preferred).
2-3 years of sales experience in publishing or educational content domains.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Established network or strong familiarity with educational institutions in Hyderabad.
Target-driven, self-motivated, and well-organized.
Familiarity with digital learning tools like Digimaria is a plus.
