A tile adhesive candidate involves promoting, selling, or manufacturing cementitious adhesives, focusing on

sales

(dealer networks, demos, lead gen),

technical support

(site visits, training, problem-solving), or

production

(scheduling, quality control, safety, cost efficiency) for construction chemicals, requiring strong market knowledge, client interaction, and technical understanding of tiling applications. Common Roles & Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing Roles (e.g., Sales Officer, Area Manager)

Business Development:

Develop and manage distributor/dealer networks, generate leads, and acquire new customers.

Customer Engagement:

Conduct product presentations, demonstrations (on-site/off-site), and build relationships with Masons, Contractors, Architects, and Developers.

Market Analysis:

Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to achieve sales targets.

Promotion:

Plan and execute demand generation campaigns and meet sales targets.

Technical & Support Roles (e.g., Service Executive, Technical Specialist)

On-Site Support:

Provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues (leveling, defects), and ensure proper application at project sites.

Training:

Train sales teams, partners, and end-users on product usage and best practices.

Quality Control:

Monitor product performance, conduct site quality checks, and report feedback to R&D.

Production Roles (e.g., Production Manager)

Planning:

Develop production schedules and manage raw material, machinery, and manpower.

Quality & Safety:

Supervise processes, ensure compliance with standards, and maintain safety protocols.

Efficiency:

Track costs, reduce waste, and implement continuous improvement.
Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience in adhesives, construction chemicals, or building materials. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work in a field/target-driven environment. Market knowledge of the assigned geographical area. Understanding of tiling applications and technical product specifications.
