Drive new business and grow existing accounts for our portfolio of metalworking fluids--cutting fluids, coolants, grinding/honing fluids, rust preventives, cleaners, and specialty lubricants
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with CNC job shops, automotive/precision components, die & mold, and fabrication units.
Trials & Conversions: Plan and execute product trials (sampling, concentration control, dip tests, line changeover support) and convert trials to orders.
Relationship Management: Build multi-level connects--owner, production, purchase, QC, maintenance. Conduct monthly review meetings with key accounts.
Application Support: Document machining parameters, tool life, surface finish, sump life, stain resistance, and cleanliness; escalate technical issues promptly.
Collections: Ensure timely payments and reduce DSO as per targets.
Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, pricing, and new installations; share structured reports.
Qualifications
Diploma/BE (Mechanical/Production) or BSc OR strong track record selling industrial consumables to machine shops.
1-5 years B2B field sales experience (freshers with strong aptitude may be considered for trainee role).
Proficiency with Microsoft office tools Word/Excel/ email.
Valid two/four-wheeler license and willingness to travel.
Nice-to-Have
Working knowledge of CNC processes (turning, milling, grinding), coolants usage, and shop-floor practices will be an added advantage
