The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the sports retail store. The role involves product knowledge, visual merchandising, achieving sales targets, and promoting the brand's image to enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Customer Service
Greet and assist customers with product selection based on their needs and preferences.
Achieve individual and store sales targets.
Explain product features, benefits, and promotions effectively.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
2. Product Knowledge & Merchandising
Maintain a thorough understanding of product lines, sizes, and new arrivals.
Ensure shelves and displays are always well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Support visual merchandising and product placement as per brand guidelines.
3. Store Operations
Manage billing and POS transactions accurately.
Maintain stock levels and assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks.
Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld.
4. Reporting & Coordination
Report daily sales, footfall, and customer feedback to the Store Manager.
Support store promotions, campaigns, and events.
Collaborate with the team to meet overall store goals and improve performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Minimum 10+2 or Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Experience:
Preferred minimum 1-2 years in retail sales (preferably sports, apparel, or footwear), Freshers also can apply.
Skills Required:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for sports and fitness products.
Good product presentation and customer handling ability.
Basic computer and billing system knowledge (POS).
Ability to work in shifts and weekends.
