We are looking for a Sales Executive who has hands-on experience with the
Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal
. The candidate will be responsible for managing GeM listings, bidding, order processing, and generating sales through government tenders. The role also includes communication with government buyers and ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage company profile, product listings, and catalog uploads on the
GeM portal
.
Search, identify, and participate in relevant
bids/tenders
on GeM.
Prepare and submit bids with accurate documentation and pricing.
Follow up with government departments for order status, queries, and payments.
Maintain records of bids, tenders, POs, and invoices on GeM.
Coordinate with the internal team (accounts, dispatch, production) for timely order fulfillment.
Track competitor pricing and market trends on GeM.
Ensure compliance with all GeM rules, guidelines, and policies.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of
GeM portal operations
(bidding, product uploading, L1 process, OEM management).
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Basic understanding of government tender procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation work.
Ability to coordinate with departments and handle follow-ups.
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: BBA, MBA, or related field).
1-3 years of experience in GeM portal sales.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
