Role Purpose



The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving subscription sales of the company's school-magazines and related offerings within assigned schools/territories. This includes generating leads, establishing relationships with school decision-makers (principals, coordinators), closing subscription deals, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Identify, prospect and approach targeted schools (government/private) within the assigned territory. Present the magazine offerings and value proposition to school administrators and decision makers. Negotiate subscription packages, pricing, terms, and secure contracts/orders. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to growth of subscriptions and renewals. Maintain relationships with existing schools/clients to drive renewals and upsell / cross-sell additional services (e.g., digital editions, events). Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, delivery) to ensure timely delivery of magazines and service standards. Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, conversion, and feedback from schools. Participate in sales meetings, training and strategy planning as required. Keep abreast of competitor offerings, market trends in school-magazines and educational publishing. Travel within the territory, meet school stakeholders, and attend events or fairs as needed.

Qualifications & Experience



MBA (preferred) or equivalent postgraduate degree. Fresher MBA or up to

1-2 years of sales experience

(preferably in educational publishing, subscriptions, B2B sales, or school/educational segment) will be considered. Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Comfortable engaging with senior school administrators and decision-makers. Result-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Ability to travel within assigned region and manage a pipeline of leads. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools is preferred. Should have good interpersonal skills, a persuasive personality and a drive to meet targets. Knowledge of the education sector or school-magazine market is a plus (not mandatory).
