Roles & Responsibilities - Godrej Field Safe Executive
Position Overview:
The Field Safe Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Godrej safes and lockers to banks, corporate offices, institutions, showrooms, and individual clients. This is a field-based sales role involving lead generation, client visits, demonstrations, and relationship management to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Field Sales & Lead Generation
Identify and approach potential clients such as banks, jewelers, hospitals, hotels, schools, and offices.
Generate new business through cold calls, area mapping, and references.
Conduct regular field visits to promote Godrej security solutions.
Build and maintain a strong client database within the assigned territory.
2. Product Demonstration & Presentation
Present and explain product features, models, and technical specifications of Godrej safes and strong room doors.
Give on-site demonstrations for digital/electronic safes when required.
Provide professional and confident presentations to decision-makers.
3. Sales Conversion & Targets
Prepare quotations, proposals, and product comparisons.
Negotiate pricing and close deals as per company guidelines.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for safes, lockers, and related security products.
4. Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with logistics and service teams for delivery and installation.
Ensure smooth execution of orders and customer satisfaction post-delivery.
Handle any client issues or service follow-ups in coordination with the branch/service team.
5. Client Relationship & Market Development
Maintain regular contact with key accounts and institutions.
Identify upcoming projects, tenders, or branch expansions for sales opportunities.
Represent Godrej brand values and professionalism in all field interactions.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Submit daily visit reports, lead updates, and market feedback to the reporting manager.
Maintain an updated record of clients, follow-ups, and closed sales.
Report competitor activity and pricing information from the market.
Skills & Qualities Required
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong field presence and customer handling ability
Self-motivated and result-oriented
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, quotation preparation, email)
Two-wheeler and valid driving license mandatory
Preferred Background
1-3 years of experience in field sales (security products, banking equipment, or building materials preferred)
Candidates from Godrej, HDFC, or institutional product sales backgrounds have an added advantage
