Sales Executive / Sales Manager
to manage our
South Zone (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala)
operations. The ideal candidate will be based in
Hyderabad
and responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding the customer base, and achieving sales targets in the region.
HE is responsible for generating leads, qualifying potential customers, and closing deals for pharmaceutical machines or equipment, playing a key role in achieving sales targets by assisting with customer relationship management, market analysis, and sales proposal development while reporting to the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification:
Identify and research potential customers within assigned territory or market segment.
Conduct initial outreach to qualify leads and assess customer needs for capital equipment solutions.
Generate sales leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.
Sales Support:
Prepare detailed sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
Conducting product demonstrations and technical discussions with customers.
Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding pricing, product specifications, and delivery timelines.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Regularly communicate with customers to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage customer accounts through CRM systems to track sales activities and opportunities.
Market Analysis and Sales Strategy:
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities.
Assist in developing sales strategies and marketing plans to achieve sales targets.
Monitor industry developments and stay updated on new technologies related to capital equipment.
Sales Reporting and Administration:
Prepare accurate sales reports, including activity logs, sales forecasts, and customer data.
Track key sales metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Assist with sales team administrative tasks as needed.
Sales Promotion/Marketing:
Identify and participate in key exhibitions in the designated area
Work with freelancers for stall design, creative designs and related activities
Organise technical seminars
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing process, equipment and technologies in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including technical specifications, applications, and industry standards.
Sales Acumen:
Proven experience in a consultative selling approach, with a focus on building customer relationships and understanding complex customer needs.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present technical information and negotiate deals.
Relationship Building:
Ability to establish rapport with customers at various levels, including technical decision-makers and senior management.
Market Awareness:
Knowledge of the capital equipment market dynamics, including industry trends and competitor landscape.
CRM Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM systems to manage sales pipeline and customer data effectively.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Pharmaceutical, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales or a related role within the pharmaceutical equipment industry.
