Role Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory or product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of specialty chemicals and an ability to translate customer needs into effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per company objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distributors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (Personal Care, Home Care, Pharma, etc.).
Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations for customers.
Collaborate with the R&D and Technical Service teams to provide customer support and customized solutions.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing to identify growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to promote the company's products and brand.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Technical understanding of specialty chemicals or cosmetic ingredients.
Proven ability to manage sales cycles and achieve targets.
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capability.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Self-motivated and result-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in specialty chemicals, personal care, or allied industries.
Languages: Fluent in English and regional languages as applicable.
