The IT Sales Executive plays a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and promoting IT products and services. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, sales expertise, and strategic communication to help clients find the right technology solutions for their business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
Present, promote, and sell IT products, software solutions, and services to prospective and existing clients.
Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demos, and proposals.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service in alignment with company policies.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution design, smooth delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while tracking progress in CRM tools.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote brand visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience (1-4 years) in IT sales, software sales, or technology solutions selling.
Strong understanding of IT products, cloud solutions, software applications, or IT infrastructure.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical clients.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
Strong problem-solving attitude and results-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or enterprise IT solutions.
Existing network of business clients in the IT sector.
