Job Description

1. Lead Generation & Market Research



Generate new enquiries through

IndiaMart

, references,

internet searches

,

shop visits

, and participation in

exhibitions

. Conduct

market research

to identify potential customers and collect

initial information

on focused target segments. Maintain a systematic database of new and existing customers for future reference.

2. Enquiry Handling & Communication



Review all incoming

customer enquiries

for completeness and relevance. Send

timely replies

with appropriate company information, images, quotations, and supporting details. Ensure effective

communication and coordination

with customers via calls, emails, and other digital platforms. Share relevant

product images, brochures, and samples

as required.

3. Quotation & Order Management



Prepare and send

quotations

accurately, in line with company pricing and policies. Handle

sales order preparation

after customer confirmation and ensure all approvals are in place. Coordinate internally with production, accounts, and dispatch teams for

order execution and timely delivery

. Maintain a record of all enquiries, quotations, and orders for reference and reporting.

4. Follow-up & Customer Relationship



Conduct regular

follow-ups

on old and new enquiries to convert leads into confirmed orders. Monitor

order progress

and keep customers updated on delivery timelines. Manage

post-sales follow-ups

, ensuring customer satisfaction and feedback collection. Handle

negotiations

tactfully to achieve a win-win outcome for both company and client.

5. Payment & Credit Control



Follow up diligently for

payments

, especially in cases of

credit sales

, ensuring timely realization of dues. Coordinate with the accounts department for reconciliation and payment confirmation.

6. Reporting & Documentation



Prepare regular

sales reports

, including enquiry status, conversion ratio, and order pipeline. Present weekly/monthly performance summaries to management. Maintain proper documentation of all correspondence, quotations, and order details.

7. Marketing & Business Development



Represent the company at

trade fairs and exhibitions

, promoting products and generating leads. Identify potential collaboration or dealership opportunities. Provide inputs for promotional materials, online listings, and market visibility initiatives.

8. Continuous Improvement



Stay updated with

market trends

competitor pricing

, and

customer preferences

. Suggest improvements in sales strategies and customer service. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to enhance brand loyalty.
