Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive with proven B2B sales experience in the electrical equipment industry. This is an office-based position where you will drive sales growth through lead generation, client communication, and relationship management with industrial clients and government/Private organisations.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads through telephonic conversations, email outreach, digital channels, and online research
Convert leads into sales opportunities through effective client engagement via calls, emails, and virtual meetings
Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients in the electrical equipment sector through regular communication
Develop and execute sales strategies from the office to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Prepare and send technical and commercial proposals to clients via email
Conduct product presentations through virtual platforms and telephonic discussions
Coordinate with government organizations including PSUs, state electricity boards, and public sector enterprises through email and phone
Prepare quotations, negotiate terms via email/phone, and close deals while ensuring profitability
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in CRM systems
Coordinate with technical and production teams internally to ensure customer requirements are met
Follow up on pending orders through emails and calls, and track delivery schedules and payment collection
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments through online research
Handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve queries promptly
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and presentations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field (preferred)
2-3 years of proven B2B sales experience in electrical equipment OEM or related industrial sector
Demonstrated track record of lead generation and successful lead conversion
Strong understanding of electrical equipment, power systems, and industrial applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
Proficiency in professional email communication and business correspondence
Experience working with government organizations, PSUs, or public sector procurement processes
Knowledge of government tender procedures and GeM portal (preferred)
Self-motivated with strong negotiation and persuasion abilities over phone and email
Ability to work from office and meet sales targets in a competitive environment
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software
Comfortable with desk-based work and extended hours on phone/computer
Desired Skills
Technical knowledge of electrical components such as resistors, transformers, switchgear, or related products
Understanding of IEC/IS electrical standards and specifications
Experience in export sales or international client handling via email/phone (advantageous)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to prepare technical presentations and commercial proposals
