Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Passive Networking Sales Executive to promote and sell passive network infrastructure solutions such as structured cabling systems, fiber optics, server racks, faceplates, patch panels, and conduits. The candidate should have a strong understanding of passive networking components and a passion for customer relationship building and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop business opportunities for passive networking solutions.
Promote products like UTP/STP cables, fiber optic cables, LIUs, patch panels, racks, cable managers, conduits, and related accessories.
Understand client requirements and propose suitable passive infrastructure designs and BOMs.
Work closely with consultants, system integrators, IT heads, and project managers to specify solutions.
Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and convert inquiries into orders.
Coordinate with the technical team for installation planning and support.
Stay updated on vendor / competition products
Achieve monthly sales targets and report to the sales manager.
Visit customer sites, attend meetings, and build strong relationships.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Diploma holders with experience can also apply).
Minimum 1 year of experience in passive networking product sales preferred.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, Fiber, etc.).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand technical drawings and cabling layouts (preferred).
Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and project locations.
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
Knowledge of TIA/EIA cabling standards.
Familiarity with AutoCAD layouts and BOQ preparation (added advantage).
Product training certifications from leading OEMs (optional).
