We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive with hands-on experience in Solar Sales and Solar EPC solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the solar power industry, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to build and manage a high-quality customer pipeline. This role requires excellent communication, technical understanding of solar systems, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver comprehensive renewable energy solutions.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities specifically in rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar, and EPC segments.
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, field visits, digital channels, and participation in industry events.
  • Develop strong relationships with residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
2. Sales Planning & Execution
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable solar solutions aligned with EPC capabilities.
  • Conduct site assessments in coordination with the technical team to determine feasibility and system sizing.
  • Prepare and present competitive proposals, financial models, and techno-commercial offers.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline, track conversions, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
3. Client Engagement & Negotiation
  • Engage with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers across customer organizations.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Provide timely, accurate communication and follow-up during all stages of the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
4. Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with engineering, design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound and cost-effective.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment on project timelines, commercial terms, and delivery commitments.
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Stay updated on solar industry trends, government policies, subsidies, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze customer insights, regional demand patterns, and market opportunities to support strategic sales planning.
  • Prepare regular MIS reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates for senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 2-5 years in Solar Sales, Solar EPC, or Renewable Energy business development.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, net metering policies, CAPEX/OPEX financing models, LCOE, and payback analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a simple and compelling way.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve consistent sales performance.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently for site visits and client meetings.
