Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new customers for
transportation & logistics services
Generate leads through
field visits, cold calls, references, and market networking
Present company services (FTL, project cargo, etc.) to potential clients
Prepare and share
rate quotations
and negotiate commercial terms
Convert leads into confirmed business and ensure proper onboarding of clients
Coordinate with the operations team for smooth service delivery
Maintain regular follow-up with existing customers to ensure repeat business
Achieve
monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain sales records, MIS, and client database
Resolve customer queries and escalate service issues when required
Track market trends and competitor activities
Key Skills & Competencies
Good communication and negotiation skills
Strong convincing, and follow-up abilities
Knowledge of
transport routes, freight rates, and logistics operations
Customer-focused and result-oriented mindset
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email, and CRM tools
Ability to work independently and meet targets
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline
MBA / Diploma in Sales or Logistics will be an added advantage
