1. ROLE STRUCTURE (Go-Getter Focused)
A. Priority Tasks - Creating Momentum & Driving Conversions
Identify, qualify, and aggressively pursue new leads
through cold calling, referrals, industry research, exhibitions, and field visits.
Convert incoming leads into qualified opportunities by providing product presentations, demos, and value-based selling.
Create and submit tailored proposals, quotations, and commercial offers within defined timelines.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual
sales targets and activity benchmarks
with full ownership.
B. Important Tasks - Building the Sales Engine
Manage the complete
sales cycle from prospecting to payment follow-up
, ensuring a smooth client onboarding experience.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions, visit reports, and deal progress in CRM or designated MIS tools.
Regularly follow up with dormant or lost clients to
reopen conversations and revive interest
.
Coordinate with the technical/service teams to ensure pre-sales and post-sales alignment.
C. Department Related Tasks - Supporting Sales Growth
Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and client feedback to help refine sales strategy.
Represent Millenia at trade exhibitions, industry seminars, and client presentations.
Work with the service and application teams to deliver trials, performance benchmarks, or technical clarifications.
Assist the Sales Manager in territory planning, database building, and funnel tracking.
D. Support Tasks - Backing the Sales Process
Follow up with admin, logistics, and accounts teams for order processing, dispatches, and invoicing.
Submit daily/weekly/monthly MIS and funnel reports with honest, data-backed updates.
Contribute to marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, client mailers, and product brochures.
Coordinate with customer support to ensure clients are attended to after handover.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Graduate/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics preferred) with 2-5 years in industrial/capital equipment sales.
Must be
self-motivated, energetic, and willing to travel
regularly for client acquisition and follow-up.
Should have experience dealing with B2B buyers, procurement heads, and technical decision-makers.
Exposure to industries like jewelry manufacturing, tool-making, automotive, or med-tech is a plus.
Strong command over English and Hindi; Marathi will be an advantage.
