The Sales Executive will be a key contributor in driving customer engagement and achieving sales targets in showroom and field environments.
Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing expert product guidance, and contributing to overall revenue growth. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with customers, possess strong persuasion skills, and have a customer-centric attitude.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Engagement
Greet customers promptly with a professional and friendly attitude -- assist and guide them in selecting suitable marble, granite, tiles, and other products.
Understand customer requirements and recommend products that meet their needs and budget.
Explain product specifications, quality differences, finishes, and application uses clearly and confidently.
Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to maximize revenue.
Conduct showroom demonstrations, sample presentations, and product walk-throughs.
Lead Generation & Conversion
Actively generate and qualify leads through walk-ins, referrals, and delegated assignments.
Conduct follow-ups with prospects via phone calls, messages, or site visits to convert inquiries into sales.
Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and update CRM/lead logs regularly.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily sales reports, customer visit logs, and inventory status updates for management.
Coordinate with the Showroom Manager and Purchase team on stock needs and customer feedback.
Share market trend information and competitor insights with management to refine sales strategy.
Customer Satisfaction
Address customer queries and resolve issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
Ensure high standards of showroom presentation and product displays for a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications & Skills Essential
12th Pass or Diploma / Bachelor's degree preferred (Sales or Marketing background advantageous).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and customer service orientation.
Sales target and result driven.
Basic computer literacy (WhatsApp, Excel, CRM) for reporting and lead tracking.
Willingness to learn --

Preferred
Prior experience in marble, granite, tiles, or building materials sales.
Knowledge of marbles/stone types, finishes, and applications.
Work Environment
On-site showroom and occasional field/customer site visits.
Requires professional and courteous customer interaction.
Target-oriented with performance incentives where applicable.
