We are looking for an energetic and results-driven
Sales Executive
with experience in laboratory and analytical chemical sales. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts across
pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, research labs, academic institutions, CROs, and industrial testing laboratories
.
This role requires strong technical understanding of laboratory chemicals, excellent customer relationship skills, and a passion for achieving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage sales for
laboratory reagents, analytical chemicals, solvents, standards, and specialty chemicals
Generate new business from:
Pharma & biotech companies
R&D centers
Universities & research institutes
Testing and quality control laboratories
Maintain and grow existing customer 7 distributor relationships
Conduct regular field visits, product presentations, and technical discussions
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close orders
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Track competitor activity and market trends
Coordinate with logistics and accounts teams for order fulfillment and collections
Maintain CRM and sales reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences
2-4 years of proven experience in
laboratory chemical / analytical reagent sales
Strong understanding of:
Analytical reagents
Laboratory solvents
Reference standards
General lab consumables
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
Willingness to travel locally within the assigned region
Preferred Background
Experience selling to:
Pharmaceutical R&D and QC labs
CROs and testing laboratories
Universities, IITs, and research institutes
Environmental, food, and material testing labs
