The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving revenue through corporate sales, promotions, partnerships, events, and brand visibility. The role includes planning and executing marketing activities, managing social media, coordinating with vendors and partners, and supporting theatre-level initiatives to increase footfall and F&B sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and approach corporate clients, schools, colleges, and groups for bulk bookings.
Promote special screenings, birthday shows, private shows, and auditorium rentals.
Develop partnerships with local businesses for cross-promotions and sponsorships.
Track sales leads, client interactions, and conversion rates.
2. Marketing & Promotions
Plan and execute on-ground promotions, campaigns, and special event activities.
Coordinate movie-related promotions with distributors and studios.
Develop promotional materials like flyers, standees, social media content, and in-house display creatives.
Ensure visibility of ongoing offers, combos, seasonal promotions, and festival campaigns.
3. Digital Marketing & Social Media
Manage the theatre's social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Create and post engaging content such as movie updates, offers, events, and behind-the-scenes.
Monitor audience engagement and run paid promotions when required.
Respond to customer inquiries and feedback received online.
4. Customer Engagement & Events
Plan and execute special events (movie launches, theme nights, celebrity visits, Children's Day, New Year events, etc.).
Coordinate with internal teams for event setup, branding, and logistics.
Support loyalty programs, contests, and customer engagement activities.
5. Market Research & Analysis
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, offers, and customer trends.
Provide weekly reports on sales performance and campaign effectiveness.
Suggest new ideas to increase footfall and enhance guest experience.
6. Coordination & Administration
Collaborate with Operations, F&B, Projection, and HO teams for campaign execution.
Maintain records of promotions, sales activities, and client databases.
Ensure all marketing collaterals adhere to brand guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
Experience in sales and marketing; experience in entertainment, hospitality, or retail is an added advantage.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of digital marketing, social media trends, and design basics.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
